One day I discovered this cherry tree in Chicago's Millennium Park. I decided it would be fun to visit the tree often and take pictures in the various seasons. I thought I would focus in on what I all "The Elbow". It is in the middle of this photo.
Here is an aerial view of Millennium Park. Obviously it is an old photo, the bridge going to the Modern Wing of the Art Institute is missing. The cherry tree is in the bottom left of this photo.
Unfortunately, I have heard from employees working in the Lurie Garden that this cherry tree is going be be cut down. It is planted in a well and has not been doing very well. At least I made it through all 4 seasons.
